B&B Description
AMERONGEN is beautifull situated at the foot of the Utrecht hillridge, the nature reserve N.P. “de Utrechtse heuvelrug”, and on the other side our village borders the old river Rhine. At only 5 minutes walking of our B&B you will find Amerongen-castle as well as some good and cosy restaurants, so you can leave your car at our parking.Property amenities: confortable free standing house , centrally heated, non-smoking.
Guestparkingplace available. Within the entire house smoking is not allowed, only outside. We do not have pets neither allow pets as new guests might be allergic to it.
We do offer a nice guest- and breakfastroom with cable-TV (by ex. for watching the CNN or BBC-news). Evenings-too you can make use of it or sit outside on the gardenterrace. . Our N.P. has a lot of walks, cycleroads and mountainbikeroads.

In case of reservations more then 16 days ahead of arrival we require a downpayment , based on the number of nights and quantity of rooms. To find our location is easy, as we are situated, along the mainroad N-225 in the middle of Amerongen. Driving of the highway up to our place is only 8 km. easy road (8 minutes). Coming of this highway/motorway A-12 (=E-35) between Utrecht(30 km.) and Arnhem. , take off at exit nr.22 (Maarsbergen), and turn in the direction of Leersum.At the end of this way at a roundabout, turn left (=N-225) and follow this road through Leersum into Amerongen. Entering Amerongen by following the main road N-225 pointing towards Elst, just 80 mtr. passed the first roadcrossing you will find our house at the righthand side, at number 52a, and 200 mtr. before the center roundabout in the middle of our village.
