If you enjoy country-life, our B&B is for you: a quiet night's sleep. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling, but a lazy day reading a book in the hammock on the terrace is also an option.
"de Hebkesberg"is an appartment in a farmhouse just outside of the village of Bergharen, in the area between the Maas and Waal rivers, some 10 miles west of the town of Nijmegen. This unique part of Holland offers much for outdoor lovers: forests, sand dunes, polders where you can fish, canoe or walk. There is a large recreational lake within walking or easy cycling distance, where you cab surf, swim and dive (various facilities available).
For garden lovers the area offers a number of inspiring gardens that are open to the public, various nurseries and the show gardens "Tuinen van Appelter" only four miles away. The nerby towns of Arnhem (15 miles) and Nijmegen (10 miles) have much to offer and are easy to reach by bike.
An added attraction is: you can sleep in a hammock if you wish.
